Tver Regional Information Center on European Scientific Technical Programs

Since 1998 an international pilot project on organizing interaction between Russian regions and EU scientific-technical programs is having been realized in Russia. In the framework of the given Project, called ENRIN, there were established 10 regional information centers (RIN) in the regions of Russia to organize participation of the regional scientific groups in scientific-technical programs of EU.

The lead in ENRIN Project from the Russian party was taken by the Ministry of General and Professional Education and the Ministry of Science of Russian Federation.

In the framework of ENRIN Project there has been signed an Agreement between Tver region Administration, the Ministry of General and Professional Education of Russian Federation and the Ministry of Science of Russian Federation to establish a regional information center under Tver State University (Tver RIN).

The goal of the regional information center is to organize participation of scientific - research organizations and enterprises of Tver region in European programs of scientific - technical development. In perspective it is planning to carry out works on 19 EU programs.
